Nail Care & LongevityA full set of acrylic nails can last 6 to 8 weeks; however, you will need to visit the salon every 2 to 3 weeks for an acrylic fill. Fills cover the regrowth area near your cuticles and keep the nail structure balanced and strong.
When applied and removed by professional, trained technicians, acrylic nails do not damage your natural nails. Damage typically occurs during rough DIY removals or if nail extensions are picked off. We highly recommend a professional soak-off removal to preserve your natural nail health.
Acrylic nails are created using a liquid monomer and powder polymer, forming a strong protective layer that is sculpted to extend the nail. Gel nails are applied as a gel polish and cured under a UV/LED light. Acrylics are ideal for adding length and extreme durability, whereas gel is best for natural nail overlays and flexible wear.
To maximize longevity, always wear gloves when cleaning or doing dishes, avoid using your nails as tools to open cans or boxes, and apply cuticle oil daily to keep your nail beds hydrated and healthy.
